Certain rap.
That's what I think.
Alejandro is a good song, but the music video is kinda creepy.

Weird Al, Green Day, Linkin Park, The Offspring, Rage Against The Machine, and the holy Gorillaz.
THAT's what I call real music. Can't really say I agree with you there.
Actually, I'd like to hear you defend the whole list. But skip Green Day. I agree with them.
I'm talking about old Green Day, not modern Green Day.
Weird Al: Hilarious! Simple as that!
Linkin Park: Love the rapping and singing, and the guitars are amazing.
The Offspring: I love punk, so I love them. But more details, I love the way they express themselves, and the beat Iis just amazing.
Rage Against The Machine: Love the political lyrics, and the guitars and bass.
Gorillaz: Great, revealing, and sometimes clever lyrics, plus AMAZING musical talent.
Yes, I defended the whole list. You happy?

ALL Lady Gaga videos are creepy. Especially, Telephone.

Nope. I'm never happy, actually. Just amused.
Though I am neither right now.
So, being hilarious makes something real music?
What exactly is "real music" to you? Definition, please.
And since you brought it up, I'm listening to Give Peace a Chance by John Lennon.
I consider that real music.

To me, real music is anything that has a beat, and that people listen to. Therefore all music is music. No exceptions

1. Good lyrics. Which means the lyrics are smart, revealing, artistic, or clever.
2. Good beat and instruments. You need to sound good playing the instruments
That's REAL music.
And the reason I think hilarious stuff is real music, is because it makes me laugh like crazy. Listen to the music of Stephen Lynch. Plays guitar and sings hilarious lyrics. You've GOT to call that real music! Ditto for Tenacious D (although it's more hard-rocky).

What exactly does revealing mean? You can't describe a song as artistic, because music is art, so it would be redundant.

Revealing can mean many different things, but mainly personal or emotional. And NOT all music is art. You can't classify pretty boys blah blah blahing about love (Justin Bieber) and drunk girls singing about well... being drunk (Ke$ha) art can you. Not to mention country music (it was already bad enough, but then Taylor Swift came in).
Seriously, check out The Offspring. I recommend "Self-Esteem" and "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid". Also, try Stephen Lynch (I recommend "Vanilla Ice Cream" and "Beelz"). So freakin' funny!

I'll listen to those if you listen to "Imagine" and by John Lennon, "A Day in the Life", "Oh! Darling", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and "Helter Skelter" by the Beatles. Ooh, and Over the Hills and Far Away by Led Zeppelin.
I say it's a pretty fair deal.

I have. And I like them. Beatles just aren't my favorite band in the world. Best Beatles song: I Am The Walrus. Awesome song.
I HAVE listened to them. So listen to your Offspring and Stephen Lynch, young man!

What do you think of it? Be honest. What's with the arg. It's great music. If you can like Rick than you can like this.

Yep. Listening to Self Esteem right now.
How old are you? 10?
You shouldn't be listening to some of this stuff.
Oh, and I already know "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid", but I haven't heard it in a while.

Yeah, you're right. But my parents are fine with The Offsprig. Not sure about Stephen Lynch though...

MY parents borrow my CD's. It's pretty annoying, especially since I paid for them.
Just finished You're Gonna Go Far, Kid.
I knew it before, though. It's good, I'll admit.
