First attempt at animating an actual person

How is it? I know, horrible...


This proves that I'm only good with stickfigures when it comes to humanoid shapes.

How do people do those amazing animations in flash... No I'm not talking about the stickmen ones like castle series, I'm talking about the extremely smooth character animations in good games like amorphous+.

The arm animation looks a little, um, whippy. If you get my drift. But hey, it's better than anything I could ever do.

Wait, found the problem. Weird frame I forgot to edit in the second step that makes the arms go.... Erm deformed.

BTW I always fail at arm animations, doesn't matter where.

It's pretty good in my opinion. I can't draw humanoids at all.

I made it like this...
1. Animate walk cycle in stykz (because I'm only good at animating stickmen)
2. Draw over it
3. Delete base
4. Clean up
5. Export
