3-d flight simulator
okay, I'm an aviation nut. I like anything that has wings. (as long as it doesn't try to kill me) I made a collab earlier called POTS. It failed because of the lack of an efficient way to make the 3-d effects. it was repetitive, but took a long time. now, I'm trying to make a new flight sim, with a more efficient system, that uses CSS and a handy little thing I found called the snipping tool. You'd have your choice of a couple of planes, and you could fly around a city. there could also be AI flying around. does anybody want to help? it will be programmed in scratch.

Hmm well we are working on the same thing mate 
.. but i am using C++ to do it u will see a demo on sunday of it well i guess we can help each other on AI ..because i cant programm a bit of it (XD)

I think it can be done on scratch cuz what S65 came out with it seems easy u jst needa tell teh code whats a 3d model and it can take care of reast of the simulator

But how would it work? without a modded image scratch doesn't have network blocks.

I vhave a thing on my computer called "snipping tool" that allows you to take an image of what's on your screen. just save the code (posted above, then fixed) as a .html or .htm file, snip the screen, and single the images out in ms paint.

it doesn't need to be modded. with all the images and stuff, maybe it'll need to be downloaded and pieced together
@ sperry: thanks! I can't test it now, I'm on a slow computer. I don't know if it's even xp... sorry, I couldn't help not giving credit in the first post, I didn't remember who fixed it.
all help is welcome! sorry for being a little outdated, I haven't been on the computer scince the 4th or 5th. anybody who wants to help, take a 3-view of a plane, try here it's just more legal. (I think...) then:
1.) copy the image into MS paint or simmilar programs.
2.) separate the images into 3 images, 1 for top, front side, bottom.
3.)take away details on the top and front to make the bottom and back.
4.) upload them to an image hosting service.
5.) copy the fixed code into a program such as MS frontpage or notepad, replace the image urls with one of yours, and save as a .htm or .html file.
6.) open in a web browser (you don't even need to be online)
7.) use the snipping tool or a simmilar tool to capture the sprites, ( I found it in windows vista in all programs->accessories)
8.)repeat steps 4 and 5, each time changing the hight by -10. so you'd have 100%, 90%, 80%, etc.
9.)separate the images. name them so that the unchanged one is 0,0 , then the amount changed in width comes first, then hight. so 80% width and 40% hight would be 2,6. also, make sure that they're in seperate folders for the top, side, front, etc.
10.) for each view, make a sprite in scratch with all of the costumes for that view.
upload, and add to this gallery

just replace the url with the url of the image you're working on. use the snipping tool or use section c of this tutorial. to make individual frames. put them in a scratch project or animated gif and post a link.

sure... let's go with that. PS. the project (there wasn't really a goal before )could be to re-try POTS and release it on December 7th. (pearl Harbor day) so try to make WWII Aircraft. I'll put some here.
