It would be really neat if when someone adds one of your projects to your favorites (or possibly love-it) you would be notified so you could say thank you or learn how popular your project is getting without checking back there every so often.

That would be nice, but some people might get a flood of messages - would there be an on/off system?

Don't be lazy, just check them yourself. It would take too much effort to add the on-off part, so users who get favourited a lot will have a flood of spam messages.

That would be... outrageous...

I agree as long as you can turn it off. I would suggest changing the amount shown on each page from 5 to something like 50, like the love it's are because 15 pages is not fun.

I agree more with this because it really is someones opinion. I would use it.

Brilliant! I support!
I disagree... I think that even if I get a million messages I would still want to be notified about everything- having to check is annoying and time consuming.

I think Chrischb was suggesting an option for notifications about favourites to stop - just like how right now you have the option to stop notifying somebody when somebody leaves a comment.

Otherwise you'd get a huge number of messages if you got a project on the front page. Of course, you do anyway from comments... But I bet there's be more fave notifications than comment ones.

If there were a choice about getting those messages or not, then why not have it? It's not like it'll bother anyone; they can always disable the feature...

I don't really pay attention to my projects now x)
But some Scratchers have pages of projects, so I can understand why a notification would be easier. But with some great projects getting 10-20+ Love it's a day, an/on off feature would be needed..
Still, *Supports*
