It's slow, it's not very stylish, and it is a Windows. I'm running it in VirtualBox to try something, but it just will not download Chrome very fast at all. -_- MY MAIN COMPUTER OS IS MAC OSX SNOW LEOPARD.

I agree... which is why I've been trying to get Windows 7... Although my dad says I'll have to wait 'til mid-August before he can confirm whether or not I can get it, then, it'll be sometime between then and early-October before I recieve it...

Get a mac. You can run both Mac OS X and Widows on a mac, but you can only run Windows on a non-mac machine, excluding all of the other great OSs out there. tongue

I'd have to disagree. For a long time, Windows XP was overall one of the best windows operating systems. Then, Vista came out, but people found out that it was very glitchy, so people stayed with XP. Now there's Windows 7, which is considerably less glitchy, so hopefully all of the XP'ers can migrate to it....

It doesn't matter on the operating system, it's the computer. Windows 7 will actually run slower on your computer than XP.

Also, the downloading is the internet's fault not the os's

Virtual box? What's that?

Nah, it's just that Windows is slow. I kinda like Windows 7, though. And Whiz, this is just the time I've been most annoyed with it so far. I can click something and blink when using the Mac part(I'm running it on VirtualBox) and it would show up, and this is a 3 year old 17 inch MacBook Pro. big_smile My dad gave it to me when he got the new 15 inch.

I actually beg to differ...

Windows XP is by far one of the greatest OS's for Windows considering the time it was made in. Windows 7 is like the only thing that passes it.

And btw, Snow Leopard is pretty much the same thing as leopard, but I like the bottom of the list XD.

I'm running XP. I don't really care that it's XP because it does what I needed to do. I downloaded the XP Zune theme from Microsoft to take away that boring blue interface. Next year I get a new computer, probably with Windows 7 big_smile

Get a Mac if you don't know jack about computers and if you download a bunch of programs and want to not murder your computer then get it. It has almost no viruses because the main majority of people use windows. If your a gamer, got OK or ITT skills on the working of a computer, get Windows 7 or XP if you have the chance. DO NOT get Vista. And when I mean gamer, not flash games and such but actual games like Borderlands, Halo 2, The Orange Box, All CoD games, and Crysis. Trust me, get Windows 7 custom-built gaming machine.
