Just wondering, since it's against the Terms of Use to give out e-mail adresses, why do we have the E-mail tag?

Isn't it universal? :\ Like the img tag, you can't just put in a random image url, you must put it in tags... there is no way to disable that. But I'm not exactly the most reliable source.

Where were you when they turned off img tags in the forums!?

Dear, that is a good question!
I don't think that as RobotKitty said, that it's universal - only automatic conversion of URLs into links are, as far as I know. I'll bring this to the Scratch Team - thanks for pointing that out!

I asked the Scratch Team about this shortly before I became a mod... I'll find the thread - it confuses me, too...
EDIT: It was here. It's item #2 of my rant - the BBCode help page is very confusing...

But it's not just the BBCode help page - the tag is actually enabled.

I think it's just a feature that came with the forum software that nobody has bothered to disable. Moving to Troubleshooting.
