Looks like someone created an account with less than 3 characters

How could he/she do it? The lower bound for username length is 3 characters.

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

On their friends page the address is: scratch.mit.edu/showfriends/(numbers)

The numbers are the user number.
