Some great Ideas.

I have a few Ideas.
one would be able to load MIDIS, if you dont know what they are, they are sound files mostly for background music.
it turns out that when i wanted to load  a 36KB MIDI, I had to convert it to WAV, and it was like 32MB!
(Big difference if you havnt noticed)
it would be great to make the scratch into EXEs so that people without scratch can download them and play.

Great idea
I had the same problem and I had to delete all the sound files in order to upload our projects.

Re: Some great Ideas.

A midi file is not a sound file, but a sequence of instructions to a synthesizer.
It would be a fairly simple program to read a MIDI file and output a series of scratch "play" commands for the corresponding notes.  Of course, for this to work there would have to be a documented format for scratch programs (I believe that the MIDI format is documented on the web).
