Hidden Lego WeDo block?

I was looking through some of the stuff inside the CD, and I found this image:

Is this possibly a feature that the Lego WeDo set would have had but they decided not to have? If so, I'm disappointed - it would be really cool to have lights!

I don't have WeDo kit, but there could have been problems with the interaction with Scratch, so they did not include it.

Eh - I'm doubtful on that. Because A, it doesn't seem reasonable, and B, either way, it would at least most likely work with their own WeDo software.

You have a point. I guess I don't know why that would be... It seems weird...

Re: Hidden Lego WeDo block?

I found the answer guys...  tongue

It seems that now they updated LEGO WeDo software 1.2, so now it's compatible with LEGO Power Functions light:

Ah well. Hopefully not too much of a drawback for me.

EDIT: By reading the FAQ, I see that other than that change, the other change was that now it's compatible with Windows 7 (and Snow Leopard). (even though it worked already for me; just I had to download one special external file for the activity program).

Re: Hidden Lego WeDo block?

Interesting. Somebody could make a custom block for it.
