Is it possible to be un-banned?

Is it possible if you are banned, to become unbanned? Not that I've been banned, I'm just curious.

Wow. How? If you can answer that.

You need to somehow prove that you will change, and if the Scratch Team accepts it, the ban is lifted.  smile

Re: Is it possible to be un-banned?

When, you get banned, you get a screen that says to contact the Scratch team. Usually when you get banned it's a temporary ban and lifts after a few weeks, but sometimes it's a permanent ban, which they'll lift if you contact them and prove you want to change.

Now, don't go and try getting yourself banned, now  smile

Sorry, one last question. I found a hole in the banning system, and I wanted to know if I could make a project on it. Is that wrong? I looked at the terms of use and it says nothing about that sort of thing.

I think it's best to avoid that sort of thing.

In that case the best thing for you to do would be to contact the Scratch Team by clicking on the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page and explaining the problem you found to them. I'm sure they would look into it.  smile  If it is a vulnerablity, there's no need to make it public - it might help trolls and people who want to harm the website.

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

If you've found a security hole, that's great! Finding a hole is the first step to fixing it. The best thing to do would be to use the contact us form to let us know about it so we can fix the hole. Thanks!
