*dies*You can always copy and paste the URL... Of course, that can get a bit tedious.
I protest. Just because a few people abuse the system it must be shut down completely?
It's like saying you can't own kitchen knives because some use them to murder.
A low percentage of people neglect the image system, I say we turn it back on.

I agree with Tonkie.
And if imgs are disabled, why are the sigs fine?

"A few people."
You have no idea the stress moderators were experiencing yesterday and today to block an ever-present string of spam attacks that posted ultra-inappropriate images verging on *. This is the best decision, IMHO.

Forever, but I am not concerned. As long as I can see my distinguishing signature, I'm okay with this.

I tried to report the posts.
I did my part to stop it

How about... If you've never abused the image tool, been here for 2+ weeks and have, let's say, over 40 posts then you can use it or something.
This would prevent someone from making a new account and instantly spamming.

How about we use the same rule as signatures? I mean, if somebody does post an inappropriate image, we ban them, they make a new account, and voila! They can't post any more images until 2+ weeks, and we're all happy

Yeah.
As Community Moderator, you should tell the head important people about that.
Not having images is annoying. It's disabling for my sig shop.

I would be delighted with that also, however administrators have no control over this. It's either disable it for everyone or enable it for everyone. Black and white with no shades of gray

I have done so. Well, I've at least told the rest of the moderating team, which includes Lightnin and Paddle2See.

A war happened. Does that mean no guns? We can't let the past and a sudden outbreak change this.

I have one concern:
I saw one post yesterday that was not an image, but a link to an inappropriate image. (I reported it). A spammer could easily get around the no-images by doing that...

See? So I believe banning images will not help. If a flurry of innapropriate projects were made, would you ban projects too?

I do believe that is a problem, but you know what other sites do when stuff like this happens?
THEY DEAL WITH IT.
So, mods, I say put everything back to normal and let the Mods and good citizens of the
Scratch Community be on the lookout.
