AI Competition(Continuation of Repto's-WITH NEW RULES!)

Okay, Repto stopped the contest. I'll be continuing it, with better rules.  big_smile  But you all must abide by them.

Regular Rules:
1.Minimum bot size is 50x50 pixels, maximum is 100x100 (Sorry urhungry, no 1-pixel bots.)
2.Bullets MUST be at least 10x3 pixels, maximum is 20x40. (Sorry roger-, no 5000x5000 bullets.)
3.You can have invisible bullets.
4.7 sensors MAX.
5.Go to X and Go to Y blocks are prohibited.
6.Your bullet CAN follow opponent, but MUST be under the speed of 5.
7.No double bullets. You cannot shoot 2 at the same time, with one hidden.
8.6 bullet sprites allowed.
9.13 sprites, MAX. At least 4 of them HAVE to be bullets, if you take all of them.
10.Missiles allowed, just not to big of an explosion, okay?
11.No hidden sprites-the kind that are there, sometimes you can see them, but they do not show up in thumbnails.
12.No invisible tanks.
13.Tank MUST be filled in.
14.You can have a circular/oval bot.
15.Max bot and bullet speed is 20.

Challenge Rules:
All rules apply, but you cannot have:
1.A turret
2.Explosions
3.6 bullet sprites(Only 1)
4.7 sensors(Only 3)
5.13 sprites total(Only 6)

Scoring System:
Missiles:5
Bullets:1
Explosions:15
Bonus:10
Instant K.O:50
Follows:10

Re: AI Competition(Continuation of Repto's-WITH NEW RULES!)

I don't understand, who is the bot fighting? What are the enemie's specs and regulations? Are there any projects with the enemy I have to fight?

I have the AI, but no enemy to fight it.

Re: AI Competition(Continuation of Repto's-WITH NEW RULES!)

At LEAST 2x1? I'll make a 1000x800 bullet!
Does the tank have to be filled in (with color?)
Does the tank have to be a square/rectangle?
What is the point of multiple bullet sprites if you can only use one at a time?
Does the tank have to be always on screen?
What is the limit of speed for the tank?
Also: 7x7 and 2x1 are barely visible. I recommend something like 50x50 bots and 10x3 bullets

What's the point of multiple bullet sprites if you can only use one at a time?
Does the robot have to always be FULLY on screen?
What do you mean by "follow under the speed of 5"? Turning speed?

I'm going with challenge rules (thats actually easier since you have less things to deal with)
But for those who are going with normal rules:

Missiles, how big is too big of an explosion

Re: AI Competition(Continuation of Repto's-WITH NEW RULES!)

you should prohibit size changing blocks
otherwise this would happen
Base:
set size to 0.000000000001 %
Bullet:
set size to 999999999999%

Re: AI Competition(Continuation of Repto's-WITH NEW RULES!)

Why do you allow multiple bullet sprites? I don't see the point, you are only allowed to fire one bullet at a time
