Some websites, like deviantart, have the option to post mature media ( that with mature laugange, excesive violence, idealogicly sensitive, or suggestive themes ) , But with a mature content blocker. The user would told the project contains whatever is checkked, and would have to type in their password to see the project. This would stop attck flagging, and stop people from seeing things they don't want to see. ~ Hunter Ravenwood C.E.O. Of Suicide for Hire.

Great idea, but I think the point of Scratch is to have content suitable for all ages, regardless of whether you're warned about it or not.
yeah but I'd like to post a violent game or animation with some language.

I like to put a warning before my projects stating it has some blood or something like that.

Hmm.... Since Scratch is meant to be kid-friendly, I don't think it would be good to have any "mature" projects on the site, whether they are blocked or not. However, I do like your idea for other things. For example, there are many projects that warn "Could cause seizures." With your idea, a person who is prone to seizures could block those projects. Also, there are some projects with very minor violence or a small amount of blood that are allowed but some people might find uncomfortable. They could block those.

I don't think this is necessary - users aren't supposed to be sharing projects with that level of content anyway.

Scratch is for all ages - so the projects have to be for all ages as well, right?
People shouldn't be uploading 'mature' projects, anyway.

But the thing is, people are saying projects with a small splash of blood should be inappropriate, or rated 13+. Maybe the people who don't like those small splashes of blood could block that.

A small splash of blood is not 13+ - in fact, very famous projects such as Tanner-FBI's Cube World have plenty of blood in them. It's the gory, neverending stream of blood that's problematic.

There's also the problem of overreacting people who say something is inappropriate because of blood effects and flag it.

I'm pretty sure this idea was suggested a while ago? Although was rejected for *pokes most of the reasons above..*
Scratch is really meant to be suitable for all ages, but I don't think a bit of blood should mean Scratcher A) suddenly has to go "ZOMG! O_O! WUT IS THIS!!!? REPPPPOORRT DXDXDX" unless it really is /very/ violent..

But many people have. Especially younger children.
