One n00b question though, how do I edit my settings (ie password)

I've taken a long hiatus, but I still visit sometimes. Give me some time to answer any messages you post on my projects!

Look at the "Welcome, demosthenes|Logout [+]" bit - click the plus, and a new section will appear. Click "My Preferences", and you can change stuff.  smile

Re: The Scratch Wiki

Okay, how do I find out my password?  It doesn't seem to be my Scratch password.  And if I click the "email a new password" button it says I don't have an email address.  sad

Yeah, they did -- I didn't find it until after I posted that.  sad   (But it's only partly my fault; the "You have 1 message" should appear at the top of forum pages too!)

Why? But I agree too - I have always 2 tabs open. One for the main site and one for the forums.

The Scratch Forums are separate from the Scratch Website (though they don't look like it  tongue ) - the person said that it would be too hard to connect them up for the notifications.

Re: The Scratch Wiki

yes scratch forums are in phpbb and are now related with the website, if they got pbpbb new version it might be possible but it would take a long time to re-write and would cause all topics to be deleted!

You have to request an account, and they'll make one for you (hopefully)...

I'm still not sure whether I want to join in or not, myself  hmm

Re: The Scratch Wiki

Everybody - please create your signature! I'll looking through many of your contributions, but none of you are doing what's written on the Welcome page! There's very important instructions there - you're not supposed to skip it!

If you forgot, view it again here.

I know the task is a bit difficult, but it's one of the very few things that I ask for, so I'd greatly appreciate it, considering it's already required.

Thank you, scmb1, for being the only user who seemed to have actually read the directions xD

I made my signature. With my lack of Wiki experience, it was a little tough. To anyone who's having trouble, I recommend copying and pasting the code from another user's signature and then putting in your name. Then you can play around with fonts, colors, sizing, spacing, etc. to individualize it.
