New scratch members go here!
New scratch Members, you went to the right place. You can make projects and add them too galleries. You can make your own gallery!!!! People can comment on your project and you can too!!!! Scratch is a lot of fun, if you have any questions just post it here!!! 
See that? To post pictures you need to do this [img]( this is where the URL goes )[/img] no spaces. Plus it has to be a URL, I think.

How do you post a link to project in your comments?

Just copy and paste the URL from the Address Bar in your browser into the comment. But I'd advise you don't do that to spam other people's projects with irrelevant comments advertising your projects
This seems to have the same purpose as another thread in this forum... I'll discuss with the other moderators whether this should be closed.

You go to "My Stuff" and look underneath your Scratch Cat Icon. It should say "Change picture". Click on it, go through your files to find your picture, and then upload.

Get a GIF image - there's plenty of them on the internet - and use it as your avatar. GIF images are the primary animations.
You can also make your own in programs such as GIMP, but I don't know too much about those
