seriously awesome, just got it today, the emphasis on blowing up the course is as good as it sounded, for every course there will usually be at least one gigantic thing you can blow up that can destroy many cars and cause a small earthquake, in the airfield course you can actually set off I believe 3 large destructions including calling in a jumbo jet to come careening into the runway and crash into other cars, the cars are incredibly epic in design and looks, a large amount of polygons make for unnoticeable edges and this game probably contains the best shine effects I ever seen, also the game doesn't just go on a racing mode, you have the standard elimination mode and other odd ones, such as the survival where you pass big rigs that are dropping explosive barrels to get points, another similar includes racing around a course avoiding waves of missiles from an apache to gain points, the form of time trials in split/second is running the course with some of the explosions going off, there is 2-player split screen so that includes plenty of reason to keep the game rather that run through it and be done, game-informer gave this a 8.25/10 which surprises me due to that the game has everything that makes for a good racing game and the unique destruction of the course

I recommend if you like racing games, very entertaining
