I'm getting back into GIMP.

You heard it.

Here's some stuff I made today:
http://www.iaza.com/work/100531C/Coolguitarlights74841.png
http://www.iaza.com/work/100531C/rubixtransparent16966.png
http://www.iaza.com/work/100531C/rubixtransparentlazers80896.png
It's the same thing, but with awesome lazers!

Tell me what you think of these!

Here are two GIMP images that I made quickly.

This one is a flag that I made showing off different things that I have learned to make.

This is a quick lava-abstract thing that I made.

yikes  Everyone's so good...

Do you draw it from scratch, or do you import an image and edit it?

I fall: It's a tragedy. You fall: It's comedy.
Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.

You would ussually import an image and edit it. But you also can start somthing from scratch, thats what I did that with my sig.

P.S heres somthing I'm working on

Before:

After:
http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/6888/sweettest3.png
Full size: http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/9733/sweettest2.png

Not finished yet but looks pretty good...

Awesome! When I get home, I gotta defrag my computer and then download Gimp :3. How long does it take to become moderately good?

Hm... I don't know. You can be without any learning or with learning (then you are better :3) I think, 1 month.

Re: I'm getting back into GIMP.

Making images is better than editing them. Don't suppose GIMP is good at that, though.

Depends of what kind of image you want to make, if you want to make something like your sig, then GIMP would be good to use. If you want to draw a picture, like a cat or somthing, dont use GIMP.

That's exactly why I didn't like GIMP. D8

I think any vector editor would do better though...  hmm

The thing with GIMP is that it is a dedicated editing program, Imho.
