Running from CD

I have searched the forums, and do not see where this has been asked. So if this has been answered, my apologies in advance.

Has anyone tried running Scratch from a CD or from a Flash drive?

I am teaching Flash in summer school at a campus where the IT guy is very busy and it would be nice if i could just have the kids run from CD.

It is already asked, but no problem.

You can put the Scratch files on a CD, and it will run. (you might want to include an autorun)

A flash disc will work too, but if you want, you can delete the media and sample projects folder to spare some space on the drive - this will not cause any problems
