Quantum Odyssey is going to be made in BYOB or Panther - haven't decided yet. It's going to be one of the first Scratch MMOGs ever, and hopefully the greatest. I do need help with it though, specifically artistic help, and maybe a little programming. Quantum Odyssey is going to have a revolutionary design, and I hope that you'll find the initial to help with it.

the-whiz? little slip up here... looks good anyway

w00t! I think Panther might be better because of the clone and delete blocks, the make and delete variable blocks, and most of all, CYOB. Hmm... You don't know how much I would like to make a new version of Scratch with Panther AND BYOB put together....

Not your idea. I've been thinking about making one of these for months, and Scratch is registered under the Creative Commons liscense, which says I can take anything you put online and remix it, or change it.

Yes I know but I made the first one so there!

Quantum: He did make the first workable one. But it's not very "MM"O
Anyway, I could do a bit of programming...

OK everyone, I've got a perfect method of transmitting data with Panther.

Yes!

The thing Panther is missing is the ability to type in the (<slider v> sensor value) block.
If you could type in it Panther would work well.

Yes to let you know craked making the block I said in Panther. (Yay learnt some Squeak) I will post code if you want it.

Wow, I never would have figured out how to do that. Can I see the code?

Yes 2 seconds
Name: Get $Variable$ from Mesh
|t1 t2 t3 t4 |
(t2 _ self ownerThatIsA: ScratchStageMorph) ifNil: [^ 0].
t2 scratchServer
ifNotNil:
[t3 _ t2 scratchServer sensorValueFor: t1.
t3 ifNotNil: [^ t3]].
'tilt' = t1 ifTrue: [^ WeDoPlugin tilt].
'distance' = t1 ifTrue: [^ WeDoPlugin distance].
t4 _ t2 sensorBoard.
t4 tryToOpenPort ifFalse: [^ 0].
^ t4 sensor: (self indexForSensorName: t1)

Better:
$String$ from mesh
^ self sensor: t1

Yes yours and mine both work, but I learnt something from mine.
And how to stop the Error! code coming up if not on the other project or if its not connected. And change it to 0.

Well, I've got the basic login coding for Quantum Odyssey almost done, and it's working perfectly. The scripts are pretty long, but what do you expect form one of Scratch's first MMOGs?
By the way, is this the second ever?
