This is my second Scratch day, but there is never one close enough to me, so my parents won't let me go. I really wish I could.
I just want to know... How is it? Is it worth traveling for four hours? What happens? What do you do?

I can't go either, there's only ONE event in all of Canada, and it's 7 hours away from me. If there was one in Toronto, I would definitely go!
Toronto buddy!

Not quite: I'm a few hours away from there, too, but it's close enough.
Anyways: on topic. I really am interested as to what does go on during Scratch day.

Now that Scratch day is over, I would like for feedback on how it was. What did you do? Did you like it? Would it be worth traveling for four hours...?

I traveled 6 hours. Lol.

Henley - it really depends on the event, to say if it was worth 4 hrs. Me and Dazachi would probably say it was, because it only happens once a year, and it's very fun - and we went to the event at MIT. But if you go to another event, it overall depends on how fun the event is, to decide if it was worth the trip.

I spent ages making my project for a scratch competition held on Scratch day yesterday. I live in Ireland so Dublin is the only place with a scratch event (3 hour drive for me). It was so worth it I made new scratch friends and found new ideas. I also came third in the competition which also made it more worthwhile!
