Title.
Would be nice if they made an app to actually DEVELOP with Scratch on Apple's awesome products.

This topic probably fits more into suggestions, but anyway, If you haven't heard of scratch 2.0, it might will be able to run on apple products and other portable devices, such as phones and ipods. Scratch 2.0 is the next version of scratch that the Team is developing with a $200,000 budget. It will change scratch to a wider variety of simplicity. There is a lot of news about the development of scratch 2.0 here: http://scratch.mit.edu/forums/viewtopic.php?id=31158

Scratch 2.0 is supposed to have Flash, right? Apple said they're not putting Flash into OS4.0, so the only way for iPhone Flash is the app called "Cloud Browse".

Scratch 2.0 is supposed to run in a Flash player, and so will the Scratch Projects. I don't know much with Macs concerning the Flash Player because I use Windows

I've figured out how to operate Java and Flash now on my iPod touch. Thanks anyway...all this thread was basically asking that IF we could ever have a Scratch CREATOR on iPad/iPod touch/iPhone then it could have accelerometer controls.
2 other notes:
-SKF has Apple and Android in their siggy, hehe.
-SRR, I already read that, but thanks.

The iPod has an accelerometre, thus allowing it to sense you tilting it. With the new iOS4.0 coming out soon, there is also another thing called a three-axis gyroscope integrated.

I think the Scratch Team is developing an app specifically for an iPhone or iPod Touch to view Scratch files... I'm not 100% sure that they will have success with it...

The app made for ipod touch, iphone, and ipad, was removed from the app store, and only the iphone 4, which came out today will have the Gyroscope.

- 1. Only the iPod touch and iPhone versions were removed. The iPad didn't exist yet.
- 2. They are submitting an iPad version.
- 3. It wasn't free. Trolololol. Sorry.
- 4. Same. I have iOS 4.0 but iPhone 4 doesn't seem worth it(for the actual phone, YES, but iPod touch 4 just for Eliminate: Gun Range, still no).
- 5. It's okay, pal.
