My younger brother, forcemaster, is using Scratch for his science project at school. He wanted to see if there was a connection between the number of hours of sports played and a person's reflexes, so he wrote a Scratch reflex tester (I helped). Scratch gives him access to a large, anonymous user population to evaluate his hypothesis.
Teachers might find it interesting to have their classes participate in his experiment -- it's easy and fun, and it might give kids in their school ideas on science projects of their own.
My brother would really appreciate the help, too!
Could you please go to http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/forcemaster/99702 and try the reflex tester, post a comment with your score, and tell as many people as possible about it?
Thank you very much!

An interesting hypothesis! Your brother might also want to consider that different sports rely on reflexes to a different extent. The game of Golf, for instance, has a far lesser reliance on reflex actions then, say, table tennis. So if the intent is to see if reflexes improve if they are "exercised", you might have to develop a weighting factor for the sport played. Good luck with that!

looking at the data, it seems you're hypothesis is correct. unless people lied.

There is always that danger... But hopefully, most of the people were honest. I will list that as a possible source of error.

I posted the results to my science project!
