At the end of my fifth grade year, we got to go on a field trip to the outdoor YMCA. I think I also got to help out in the lunch room that year.

In 5th in my school you get to be the "Leaders of the school" which is OK. Cool thing is that you, since you're at the top, get to sit on the risors during an assembly rather than on the floor, like everyone else.

You get to sit on the risers? At my elementary school, everyone sat on the floor. Us fifth graders had to sit in the back, too, so we could barely see anything! They might have changed that now, but I'm not sure.
