Problem installing Scratch on Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx

On a new fresh Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) (upgraded from 9.10)

Gives me the following error when trying to install the deb file scratch_1.4.0.1-0ubuntu5_i386.deb:


'PackageKitDpkgInstallProgress' object has no attribute 'read'


Any ideas?
