Click the buttons to turn on the different audio loops.
This is the project I am trying to make. What I am trying to do is load up a couple 3 second audio files and loop them seamlessly. What happens is the audio files are loaded and will play for a few loops, then there will be a small pause in between the loops. This pause can become obnoxious. There are 8 kick drum beats in each loop, 2 bars of music at 160 bpm.
I am not sure if it is a problem with the wait times, or the way scratch loads audio files. I am leaning towards the way scratch loads audio files. I am thinking that they are not being cached into the memory, but I am not sure. Maybe I am pushing the limits of Scratch?
I made all of the sounds in FL Studio and I verified that each file is 2.99 seconds long. I have tried 2.99 and 3 seconds as the wait time, but there is still that pause. There is also a difference between when I run it online and when I run it on this pc locally. The problem is much worse online from what I have experienced.
Any insight into this problem would be appreciated.
