I agree. I like the Scratch Mods and Hacks idea.

I support - it's a new forum and more space, but it would help clean up Advanced Topics ( was it meant for that stuff anyway? ).
And it would be easier to find new modifications to use.

I can see the advantage of having a forum for mods. I also see the disadvantage of having more and more forums, which means more places that mod(erators)s need to check, more places that commercial spammers can leave spam. So - it may be a good idea, but it doesn't come without any cost. We have to balance the benefits against the costs.
But there's no extra stuff to moderate... it'd be just the same, except that some of the topics would be in a different place.

You actually bring up really good point!
But maybe, with the new emphasis on Mods, a couple new ones may pop up, which would mean a whole new realm of places for Moderators to check. Also, they'd have to look through another forum; rather than just looking through one. While it may be the same number, just distributed differently, there's still a few more links to click on.
But why am I arguing against my own suggestion? I would be happy to single-handedly moderate that forum if that's what it comes to.

I'd help.
But I'm not a moderator.

I totally support this idea, while it wouldn't help me at all, it could really help some of the more advanced scratchers.
