Better Sound Stuff

I think having more advanced ways to read music files other than the other two ways that they already have would be great.I have a gazillion songs on itunes that I would like to put on one of my scratch projects, but when I go to the folder it is blank.More memory captivity would be nice as well!
Thank You!

Re: Better Sound Stuff

I don't know the official stance of Scratch team on this, but basically it is a bad idea to put a copyrighted music on a project you made: it is copyright infringement.
Beside, chances are most music you have on iTune is protected by DRMs, so you just cannot use them.

I am not sure to understand how you plan to capture memory (or keep it captive).

Things you upload on Scratch are generally protected by fair use, so unless you just upload the song and nothing else, it should be fine.

Re: Better Sound Stuff

Just export to mp3 (works most of the time) and you can import it to Scratch.

Otherwise, you can convert it to other sound files.
