I've made some changes so when you're making your level don't make any coding changes. Fireball is supposed to be working on level 3, so do level 4, I sent a tileset in the first email to you. Make it like normal levels, except upside-down.

Because fireball doesn't seem to be doing anything D:< I've started work on level 3.

The level now is just a testing ground of sorts, the final level system will be replaced by a tile based system. Since I had to make the pictures into vectors (collisions affect white space if I don't) some surfaces are curved and hard to jump off of.

The tiles are the same ones used from level 1 of the scratch version. I just imported them into flash. I will get the enemies and combat stuff working then work on a proper tile system.

looks far from done but fantastic so far. maybe you should work on making you spawn from where you die cuz i keep getting teleported back to the start.

Yeah that was on purpose, there isn't anything at the end anyways.
I could make it so that you respawn where you last landed or at a checkpoint. I will probably go with check points.
Also worth mentioning is that I am redesigning the levels and making it more combat oriented. There won't be pits everywhere and mazelike things but there will be a lot of baddies and traps hopefully.

Ok, small update. No working enemies yet but I put in character animations cleaned the code a little and started the enemy.

Heres the archive of what I got, some of its a mashup of something I was doing before so some names don't make sense. You can't open the .fla without flash but the stage is completely blank as it only has library items. I recommend using notepad++ to browse the .as files if you want to look at the code.

i'd make it where you last dropped because then it's consistent with the scratch game.
