i was just giving my death game a complete makeover(new scripts new costumes new way of playing) while playing other games.
then i thought it should be possible to make a paint editor by putting all the x,y pos
into a list and then going to them.
i then thought you could make it go to that x pos + scrollx + 480 * 0
anyone agree?

No. It'll lag too much. What you do is you give the player blocks that they can put in different places.

ok thanks for your opinion but that would probably be harder to make scroll
notepad out that makes
(einstein works out the theory of relativity)

Yeah, it wouldn't work because it wouldn't be instantaneous. It would have to re-draw the whole thing every time you change the scrolling position.
