Bump.
Oh yeah something about the upgrades:
They all have a special (non passive) ability.

Apart from ghost. Ghost is already non passive.

So green is (I have programmed this) double it's (already 1.5x average) speed for 2 seconds.

Need ideas for the others.

One idea is a massive uber shot, but I need a place to put it (red, yellow?)

Other ideas I want you to vote on:

1. Should yellow's ability be randomly spamming base energy shots while teleporting? (this will mean 30 shots per second)

2. What do you want to see: lots of enemy robots or creatures?

3. Need enemy ideas.

Are the upgrades in the testing game right now? I didn't see any while playing.

Enemy ideas.. hmmm

Health enemy - taks 5 hits to kill.
Runner - Faster enemy
Magma enemy - An enemy that explodes causing anything (inclding enemies) within the blast radius totake damage.
Water enemy - leaves a trail of water for a second or 2 wherever it goes. Like those snake games on scratch.

All I can think of for now.

Ok so this is what you need.

I'm making a game, it's a top down futuristic shooter where you mainly use energy weapons (laser beam, energy shot, rail gun etc.), but I have no idea what to call it. The character is a robot that looks like a VERY shiny square.
Oh yeah and you're also trying to mine a special mineral on planets full of hostile aliens (not a sentient race) while others try to mine the mineral before you and you gotta make their robots go boom before they take your shiny rock.
(translation:
You're trying to mine a special mineral on a planet that's full of non-sentient hostile aliens. Other groups are also trying to mine this special mineral (it's a great energy source and looks shiny!!!). You have to blow up their robots before they take all the rock while killing/avoiding the planet natives).)

Names for random angry creatures that sometimes form angry mobs to get you out of their planet. SPECIES NAMES NOT SPECIFIC CHARACTER NAMES.

How about "The Zanophanians"?

4. The name of the substance you're mining
The name of the shiny mineral that you're mining. BTW the mineral looks like this:

I NEED WEAPON IDEAS.

Following weapons are being considered/made:
1. Base energy shot
Just a normal shot.
2. Rail gun
Fast, strong long ranged shot.
3. Laser
Medium ranged extremely fast shot.
4. Plasma
Short ranged shot that leaves a pool of plasma for a few seconds.

Notes on your suggestions:
5. Where's 5?
6. I can't make homing missiles (I'm new to actionscript)
7. This is a fail weapon considering the setting. Maybe I should just add it anyway! (there are no bugs)
8. Waay to overpowered, even for a long cooldown time.

Suggestions:

5. Leech - Long reload, but gives 1 life for every life it takes.
6. Bomb - Explodes,  medium reload, slow flying.
7. Lightning - Medium attack and instant reload. Short range.
8. Minigun - Rapid reload, small damage, llong range.
9. Cannon - Heavy damage, long reload, slow flying.
10. Orbital Shot - Low damage, medium reload, lightspeed flying, hits all enemies on screen.

Nah.

Weapons list (may be revised and [] means credit):
1. Base Energy Shot
Medium range.

Short range.

3. Rail gun
Very, very long range. As in twice the screen or more.

4. Cannon [septimusheap]
Medium range, large shot.

5. Plasma
Short range, leaves pool (that your robot is immune to).

BTW I can't add spreadshot because of the way collosions are scripted.

EDIT: one last thing. You people do realize that this is my second flash game, right? So no extremely complicated suggestions.
