Darn!

My mom was planning the trip to Boston for Scratch Day. We were going to take a train to Boston and spend the weekend there, but she looked at her call list and it turns out she is on call that weekend (she is a doctor). My dad was the original person to take me, but he was on call too.
So I can't go to Scratch Day MIT or any of the others.  sad

Re: Darn!

The closest one for me is a 2 day drive or a 4 hour flight and that would cost over $400 either way...

Find someone post count. Click posts under username. Find number of pages. Times that by 40 for min and 60 for max and you have a rough estimate of post count.

Re: Darn!

Why do you want to go there anyway? From my understanding it's just grown-ups talking about Scratch development
No fun and games, just work

That would be the conference, not Scratch Day.

A while back I remember you said that Columbia University, New York was easily accessible Scratch Day location relative to you. If not MIT, perhaps you can get a family member willing to take you there?  smile

I can't go to any because both my parents are on call and my Au Pair is taking car of my 4 year old brother and 9 year old sister so it just would be too hard.
