No way to resize a large desktop

On anything bigger than 1024 x 768 desktop, the middle panel is too large and the display panel is too small.

Please allow one to resize the panels left and right by dragging to allow more or less space.

Thanks!

Re: No way to resize a large desktop

We had that feature but it was removed. We might consider adding it again if there is enough support for it. We found that some people got into trouble if you let them change resize the panels.

Re: No way to resize a large desktop

Limit the resizing so that no panel gets less than half its default size, and people shouldn't get into too much trouble.

Resizing is essential for old machines with low-res displays.

Re: No way to resize a large desktop

Allowing the panels to be resized either half-again as large or half-again as small we be fine.  It would only be the second and third panels that need this ability.
