changing the numbers

whenever i'm labeling costumes in my scratch projects i notice that it sometimes changes the numbers to go in a specific order, say if i had a costume labelled "costume" and another labelled "costume2", now if i deleted "costume2" because i had a better drawn version of it and replaced it with something else that would be okay because they would both be labeled "costume2."  however when i try to label this one "costume2" scratch realizes that my previous costume is just labeled "costume" so it changes "costume2" into "costume1."  this makes me have to change all of the scripts as well.

thoughts on this?

Re: changing the numbers

And then if you delete that and try to reduce the costume number, it will go up.

THIS MUST BE FIXED!
Seriously, although it's kinda funny when the number at the end never stops going up.

I fall: It's a tragedy. You fall: It's comedy.
Hmph enjoy your fall - I get a lovely spring... without pans of new leaves.
