Study: Presentation over Quality

I have figured something out . . . many famous users do the same project with a few redesigns or theme changes over and over again, and they just get more famous. Why? Because they present well.
Here is what the scratch community seems to like:
-A Good Cover
-Lots of Variables, even where they're unnecessary
-Anything that claims to be an AI, even if it really isn't
-Good Sprites, ideally from a spriting site
-"Link Menu" sigs
So, here's what you must have in order to become "famous", apparently:
-Photoshop, MS Paint, Macintosh Pencil, Tux Paint, et cetera.
-Access to spriting sites.
-Knowledge on how to make a cover (if you don't have this you should really work on your skills)
-BBCode knowledge
-One good project idea you can remake and remake and remake.

And, is there a real problem if anyone becomes famous like this? The point of the scratch community is too have fun programing, and viewing other peoples work. If some people become "famous" on scratch in the midst of doing that, then that means they are doing what they are supposed to do and excelling in it too.

He didn't bash on people getting famous that way. He was giving pointers on how to get more attention.

I've taken a long hiatus, but I still visit sometimes. Give me some time to answer any messages you post on my projects!

That's 100% untrue.

Look at m44. He makes (usually) all his own sprites, the covers aren't (always) that advertising and they're all 100% different.

Yes. I program for fun. That's why my projects have varying themes. I experiment with different concepts, the variables I use are all necessary and For the preview picture I just show a gameplay screenshot.
