Sensor block for broadcasts

countless times i have hit snags in my work... most of the time i can get around it, but i think that it would be helpful if there was a sensor block like 'i recieve [broadcast]', because right now we can only start scripts with the broadcast block and not stop them, such as 'wait until 'i recieve [broadcast]''.

that would be very helpful.

Re: Sensor block for broadcasts

Great idea!

Also:

Blocks that tell time
Blocks that make a new sprite/costume
Blocks that make variables

They would all be very useful!

Re: Sensor block for broadcasts

yes. however, the 'create instance' block would have a separate sprite list, and may make scratch quite a bit more complex.

You can add that to the topic post... (I think it would be a Sensing block.)

Re: Sensor block for broadcasts

This is great, but you can already do this with a variable. I use variables, not broadcasts, at all, anymore.
