It's time for a Harry Potter spoof! Harry Scratcher and the Programmer's Variable is going to be a long but epic animation complete with a menu screen, scene selection, pause button, rewind button, fast forward button, play button, and credits. Writers and animators are wanted, along with voice actors, programmers, and musicians. If this isn't an epic fail (like most of my collabs normally are ) there just might be Harry Scratcher: The Project of Secrets. I will make a forum for this once there are enough people.

I can make a video player if you'd like. The only trouble is that I don't know if you are using individual frames, or if you are going to use things like the "glide" block. That could make it very difficult on me....

Oh. Well...which would be easier?

Definintely individual frames. The only problem is that it would be much harder to create smooth movement like with the glide blocks.
Here is what I really mean. Are you going to have more than one sprite with anything other than the costume blocks? If so, than you aren't going to use individual frames.
HOWEVER, if you don't want to use individual frames, I have an alternative. You could animate the video using whatever techniques and/or blocks that you'd like. Than I could capture the video with a program of mine. Using another program, I could turn it into an animated GIF. Then I could put it into Scratch, giving each individual costume.
Anyway, I'm working on the video player right now.
Lastly, could you add me to the team list?

Frames. Glide is nearly impossible unless you want the timeline bar to only select scenes.

I'm in.

The video player is *GASP* one sprite one script, so it's taking a while...

I'll be a voice actress, like if Hermonie (I probably spelled that wrong) is in it then I'll play her.

Okay
But Hermonie Granger will probably be someone like "Hermonie Programmer" or something.

I'll ask the animators what they are going to do.

No American can fake a British accent, really.

I've tried before. It sounded ridiculous, which will make it even better for this animation because it's a spoof. So the more ridiculous the better.

Correction: No American can have a British accent, really.
Anyone can fake something, no matter how horrible.
