I might enter this, but how could I have multiple bullets from one sprite?
Try to work it out, I'm not going to tell you!
Hint: Use the stamp block. But then bullet detection will not work if the [if touching []] block is used.

Well, that wouldn't really be a second bullet, just a picture of one. Would you have to go back and delete it, or otherwise it would create barriers like the pen blocks. Or your enemies could always use clear to erase your second bullet.

I know how to create multiple bullets from the same sprite
For a ton of bullets, this would lag like CRAZY
Get ready for some really laggy projects

well providing it is not too lagy, it should work
it /is/ too laggy...
plus the graphics will be glitched with all the CLEAR blocks...

yeah, but if you don't stamp, but just make it jump between positions sooooo fast it would seem like you are everywhere at once. Anyway, there has been a lot of talking on this forum, but no entrees, please submit your entrees soon.

That's impossible.
Also, I find that it's just not worth it (making it this way would 1/num_bullets the speed of the bullet.)
Making my robot. It can adapt to the other robot's strategies (WATCH OUT!)

THE HIDE BLOCK!

Ok new rules, sorry for having so many:
bullets cannot explode and cannot be destroyed by other bullets because that would require programming in both bullets (sorry bugefun)
hide and show blocks are now banned on tanks but are acceptable on bullets. If you have a way of stopping a weapon from hitting you even when you are sitting still, that is unfair and the way must be posted so that I can decide whether it should be allowed or not.

Can you abort firing a bullet (as in, let the bullet re-fire) before it hits a wall or the other player?
EXAMPLE:
ME ---------------- AI
I fire.
The AI dodges the bullet
ME ------------ >[/blocks]>[/blocks]>[/blocks]>
----------- AI
>[/blocks]>[/blocks]>[/blocks]> = bullet
At this point, can the bullet realize that it has no chance at hitting the AI, self-destruct (no damage to opponent bot), and re-fire from the base?

Of course, if you wish you can have this feature there are no rules against it.

ok.. fine. the way my robot dodges other bullets is that the rotation center of the robot is way off from the picture of the robot. that way the bullets fire at the rotation center. that doesn't use any banned block so it should be legal

Ok very clever, I cannot argue with something like that, it is not against the rules, but it will spoil the sporting nature to this competition. I would like you to reconsider the use of this stroke of genius, however if you do decide to use this I will have to regulate the costume, as I would do normally for size reasons, rendering this ability useless. If you do decide to drop this I will give you a rematch against your opponent if you lose a battle.
Thank you for revealing your idea and I hope you will choose to drop your secret weapon.

my robot may be able to adapt to that D:
I will test
EDIT: nope...it really depends on how far is far. it should adapt to one tank-length. anything over that...no

i know a way to move faster than 15 steps. just do -x steps. you should ban negative integers.
Yes, but the speed is how fast you are moving, even when moving backwards your speed is still positive.

ok, there is another way to dodge bullets. it doesn't always work, but it is pretty good. let's say that the size is 90 x 90 or lower. just make a robot that is 1 pixel at each of the corners of the 90x90 sprite, then make it rotate. it almost always dodges the bullet.
