I think you need to play at a certain distance away from you for 3D though; it will be something annoying like that.

I heard about this. They'll officially announce it at E3 this year.

Given the limits of 3D technology, there's not many options for them to use. If it uses stereograms or glasses, it's pretty much guaranteed to fail, so I doubt they would do that. It's possible they could just use a "layered" screen to display graphics in front of each other, but that would make the depth really limited.

So... it should be interesting to see how this works.

Maybe it won't be exactly 3D

it could just be the "2D-3D" (I guess thats what its called  ) Like it just looks 3D but it's not really popping out at you..

3DS is a code name.

It said something like a sensor that finds the players point of view.

That's just a normal DS game - using face recognition.

I wonder how this new DSi will do 3D stuff, assuming it's not face recognition like this game.

Yet I still think that's cool...Darn! Yet another reason I want DSi.

The DSi XL is already out?

In my opinion, it was a fail, slightly bigger screen, and a pen that blocks your view of the game. (Trust me, I'v had one.)

Then, prepare for failure. The fourth addition to the DS line of handheld game consoles is named DSi XL. It's pretty much just an DSi with a larger screen. But hopefully, Nintendo will make a completely new version of the DS sooner or later.

So, technically, there are 5 DS systems. 

One thing that I do not understand is why game developers are spending so much money into the 3D gaming technology. Normal 3D graphics are fine but the type that you need glasses to see, in my thought are one of the biggest scams. Then again, nowadays all they care about is Money.
