Do you mean the one by Gordon Korman about the hippie kid who has to adjust to regular life? Because if you do, then that was a REALLY good book.

I always thought 42 wasn't really the funniest part of the series. "We are sorry for the inconvenience", the Restaurant at the End of the Universe, jumping out of windows, and Agrajag were my favourite parts.
