The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series.  Douglas Adams has the greatest sense of humor.  My favourite line is

I read the third. It's called The Lost Symbol. It's good. I haven't read Angels and Demons though.  hmm  I was gonna read that for summer reading.

I love those books too. I also like the Ranger's Apprentice series. One book I liked was The Phantom Tollbooth. My least favorite book is..... I don't have a least favorite book!!!!!

I'm also a huge fan of the Mortal Instruments series which comprises of city of bones, city of ashes and city of glass.  it's fantastic, and not to be confused with city of ember
and then percy jackson is good
twilight's not bad, it sucks you in to the story, people just don't like the fans.
