I dislike them. I think they are a waste. Notice they are all made by 09'ers and some 10'ers? Curious.

I really dislike the VS projects, because those waste space on the server.
The Add Yourselfs, I don't support, but there are a few reasons that I do those somethimes:
1.) I like to make fun of them by adding face censorship to everyone who has done it before me.
2.) I like to add Rick Roll's to some of them (In 1.5 secons, BOOM!).
3.) I add extra scripts to them to make them actually worthwhile.
I am also not a fan of surveys, but I do them so that people don't assume that i'm dead.
I hope this post helped people, though it most likely didn't.

i can agree. what IS with those "addyourself" projects? they REALLY, in my opinion, take away the purpose of scratch.
HOWEVER, remixes DO work if they are Collaborations OR based off of a platform eingine. there really is no true value to an "add yourself doing this, that, etc., etc" project? why not make a collaboration WORTHWHILE instead? it is far more useful!

I Dont Really Know But I Remix, It's So Much Easier Than Making Projects. I Mostly Remix On Tha Ones Where U Just Draw Features Onto The Already-Made Sprites.

Not just platform engines, any engine.

There are reasons for the remixing. Some are:
• It easily gives fame to unknown users
• New programmers can easily remix projects
• It can be fun
• It is spam
• It gives the Scratchers with little talent a chance
• It should be banned

It's easier, but you're not really doing anything. Drawing a few features onto an already made base without changing anything else isn't what scratch is for. If you want to do that, try going on an art site.

Your point of that comment is JSM? That was a pretty self explanatory statment by Midnightlepoard. Simply making an observation.

Two things I can say to this:
Off Topic!!!!!!!!!
and I vote for Billy Idol just to take a point away from Lady Gaga.

• They are not spam - they have value to some people
• What's bad about giving those Scratchers a chance?
• Those projects aren't just meaningless spam - they don't deserve punishment
I don't like those projects... but they're not wrong.

A poll project with two choices, with a list of usernames for each. You just remix to add your name.

I agree

Addyourself Projects Would be Better If You Could Use Some Script So That what You Put There Stayed There On The One project, Same for VS

Heh, that is honestly the funniest thing I've ever read on this site.

Well, they aren't the best things on Scratch. But they shouldn't be removed. Add yourself projects are kind of fun. And VS. project are okay. And I love surveys.
And sometimes they mean stuff. Like petition "add yourself" projects (like, "(insert user here), please come back!".
