Scratch doesn't show MIDIs?

I downloaded an MIDI music file and when I go to open it in Scratch, it won't show in the Scratch mini-library thing when I click "Import" and go to the folder which it's in.

Retired from Scratch, but just the language itself. Not the forums.

That's because Scratch doesn't support MIDI files. Try using a different file type, notably, MP3s.
