Uh huh. That's the effect I have when I wake up from nightmares. A metaphorical thought of mine is that the one who conjures the dream can erase it too.

What I mean by "the one" is the scary creature/thing/event.

Mine was when I was in a room, and my coat that I wear to school was haunted. It floated up about six inches above the ground and tried to kill me. When I woke up, I was totally scared. I couldn't wear the coat for 2 weeks!    I wear it now though. Well, in the winter.

Last night I had a dream where my computer crashed and we had to re-install Windows so I lost EVERYTHING on my computer. Also in the dream that happened to my dads computer and he said he had a collection of medical records or something related on there O_o

this isn't my scariest dream, but it is my weirdest.

Part I

I was standing on a ship with a rope tied around my waist. A teenage girl was the captain, and she told me to jump into the water to look for something (dream didn't specify). I was swimming around in a circle, looking, and I was getting more and more tired. When I was almost about to fall asleep from the cold, I saw what I was looking for. I grabbed onto it, then blacked out. When I woke up, I was clutching a fishing line, washed up onto the shore. There was a dock next to it. I walked up a dune and was suddenly behind the house in a cul de sac at the end of my street. I was walking down the sidewalk when a road appeared where my neighbor's house should have been, and where the road was in the real world there was a grassy plain.
(note: there is a pond separating my neighbor's and my house. there is a fence running down the side of the road in the real world.) 
The fence was running down the fake road. At the end of it was my house. I was walking along, when suddenly I was naked. A man wearing a black suit started chasing me, but then my parents were there. The dream dissolved.

Part II

I was standing on the dock in my first dream, and my friend Kaelen was in the water, drowning. I threw in a rope, but he couldn't pull himself out. His foot was caught on some seaweed. Out of nowhere, the man in the black suit appeared. He dove into the water with scissors and cut the seaweed. I helped them out, and when I looked at the dock again, there was the teenage girl from my first dream, standing at the end of the dock. When the man in the black suit saw her, he ran at her. They plunged into the water.
I woke up.
btw, this dream was from 2 years ago. I don't live in that house anymore.

How was that story 'good'?

I've had so many nightmares...all about the apocalypse ,end times,or upcoming events.ex.a few nights before the earthquake in haiti,i had a dream of an earthquake.at the end,i fell into a crack in the earth and was plunged into lava.then,I woke up.3 days later,haita earquake happened.I felt bad since i could of told someone and people could of been saved.....I'm sorry.

I never understand any of my dreams.  All I remember is little events.  Like, I think there was this one where I was talking to Josh Peck (who was in my dining room for some reason that I couldn't figure out), and then he said he had a girlfriend and attacked me!  And then I had this other dream that a girl who looked a lot like Bella Swan was chasing me with a knife     I really don't get my dreams at all.

This isn't a nightmare, just a really weird dream.

I was looking out the window, and the house next door stood up and started walking!

I once had a dream that was similar to Ratchet & Clank. All I remember is a choice on whether or not to decapitate someone. This was near Halloween.
