Naw, it went like game-anime-manga.
Quite an odd sequence if you ask me.

You guys, this is Food-dude's dream. Stop crushing his dream. How would you like it if you dreamed of writing a famous book series or something, and people mocked you for it?

We're only being realistic.

This is probably the same kind of support the others got when they create pokemon, yugioh, and bakugan
The difference between you and them, was they had a whole team of professionally trained people (and they were getting payed)

this topic makes me laugh, not only because of your high most likely indestructible ego but because of your high expectations to own an anime tv series, good luck making money, there is about 1,000 other people who want to own an anime tv series and make money half of those people went bankrupt and had to morgage their home and then got foreclosed on.

That's the point. I wouldn't dream of writing a book or TV series anyway.

I agree. It is totally disrespectful and it can really be hurting him.

But writing a book is possible.
And since all you have to do is get it published, there's more chance than your anime show being aired.
Maybe when he's 17/18 and could fill the gaps in plot.

Stop it. Don't say that stuff. This is Food-Dudes dream. Don't ruin his dream. How would you feel if someone made fun of your dream? I suggest you don't say that kind of stuff anymore. True it would be hard, but you can't ruin it for him.

We shouldn't ruin his dream. But the possibilities are slim. Plus, him still wanting to do this when he's old enough for a TV series, well, he'll probably think it's dumb.
BUt, by surprise he become's famous, I'll be going, "I knew him on the internet!" If I knew his real name

If you never try...you never achieve. There is a lot to be learned even if this fails. Edison tried hundreds of different designs before he found a workable light bulb. Yet he had to resolve to try first before there was even a hope of success!

You need lots of time/dedication/money/producers to make a decent anime. I'm not going to say to give up on it, but you're getting ahead of yourself too quickly...
The other problem is age. You should probably wait until you're a little older before you start to plan it all out, because (and I'm just being honest), the younger you are the harder it is to come up with something good. Right now you should be considering what makes an anime likable, and you could definitely come up with some basic elements (characters, setting) since those are easy to change if you don't like something about it or come up with something new later.
There's no reason to give up on your dreams. But take it one step at a time and don't get ahead of yourself. Who knows? This could really take off! You just need to keep it all in perspective.

You do have a point. I really see both sides of the story, one because when I was younger I wanted exactly the same thing. U guys are being harsh on food-dude. BUt yea, the idea's cool, but its unrealistic. VERY unrealistic. It does take over half a year to develope one 15 minute flick, but, its cool to have the idea. If you can put it to work I do this: "Applause!" but, sorry, it's gonna be tough. I suggest that if you really want to, start making really good animations on scratch so you can get a feel for what you need to do. Scratch is pretty basic, so it should be easier to do, then if you were actually making a series.
Thats just a little advice. Good luck!

This post says what I was thinking.
Good luck in your endeavors!
I hope that someday I'll be proud to have known you at your start, Scratch.
