2 crucial blocks for costumes/backgrounds
Previous Costume and
Set Costume to Costume #:_
There have been so many times working with kids where we've had to go through all sorts of contortions just to accomplish the simple task of going back to the (numerically) previous background whatever background you happen to be in now.

For the first one you can just use
but a block for that would definitely be a lot less tedious.
You can also place a variable on top of the drop-down menu, like this:
If the variable is a number, it'll switch to that costume number.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
