Yes. But the pain shouldn't last more than a week. You might want to eat soft food (Ex: yogurt) until your teeth get used to them. Braces will feel tighter if you have bands on them.
2. How long (about) do they have to stay in for?
Depends how your orthodontists prefer to do it (Like if they want to get it over with ASAP) and how crooked your teeth are.
3. How do they actually help?
They straighten your teeth so they dont push against eachother when your older and knock other teeth out (Says my orthodontist)
4. Is it annoying to eat with them in?
No popcorn, no hard foods, no chewing gum... At least you get to stay away from some healthy food.![]()
