Actually if you round, you have about 5700 posts.
I have two times more comments than posts. But I started using the forums a few months after I joined.

Comments are much much higher than my forum posts.
However, I like making forum posts much more, because there is no character restriction and links and such show.

Actually, there is a character limit, but it's so high you'll probably never reach it
Anyway, forum posts.
EDIT: The limit is 65535 characters.

I used to have more comments than posts( I got 1000 comments first rather than posts) but now I have ~1300 posts and ~1100 comments.
