Can I use the x position and y position blocks if they aren't used to detect opponents? Only to keep my x the same when I change my y?
Yes.

Why are you lowering it so much?Too difficult to dodge.
so you realised that your dodging robot wouldn't be able to dodge it so you changed it XD
lol
It is hard to dodge! It the projectile travels at 12 pixels per frame and the robot travels 10 pixels per frame, the projectile WILL catch up...

Wait, are you allowed to change robot sizes in the fight?
And also, why have those rules?

Woot - I made a pixel perfect position calculator (with the power of simultaneous equations and the Pythagoras Theorem)!
Now to make the robot...
How is that possible? You need at least SAS or SSS to do that, and none of them or the others are possible without the banned block. Pythagorean Theorem only works with TWO legs, but you only have one...

Distance to blocks from two sensors at the bottom corners of the screen are all that is needed.
I worked out how to calculate the X and Y position with the rules of simultaneous equations.

I'm not sure if anyone has reccomended this yet,but I think demosthenes should host this AI competition every 2-4 weeks, changing either small aspects of it(add obstacles to navigate around, remove more blocks, etc.)or changing the whole competition(e.g.robot soccer).
