i wanna do it, post a link to the thing where it says how big the robots and projectiles have to be.

Simple: make variables for each banned block. RoboX RoboY and RoboDir. The go to block is just set X to RoboX set Y to RoboY, and point towards is atan(RoboX/RoboY)[a bit more complicated, but I won't go into that].

Neither does half the Scratch community.

I know how to do this.
Pretty simple if you use a brute force sensor.
A couple of questions though:
Are we allowed to build a robot that dodges the bullets? Do bullets kill other bullets? How many robots are going to play at a time? Too many would lag it up significantly.
It will be 1v1.
Bullets will not destroy other bullets.
Hopefully your bot will dodge enemy bullets or it will at least get pwned by my super dodging bot

you can only move ten steps at a time though lol
but so can the bullet
DUN DUN DUN
i've got like three amazing ideas for a robot
but for one of them i need to ask if the 5 extra sprites can be made into shields?
shields that only last for one hit
EDIT: also how many hits to die

I will if I can find a piece of free recording software.

I think you should also ban the distance block though![]()
You know a script that does that without the blocks I've banned O.O? If so could you please share it, I don't want anyone able to use something like that so I'd have to ban it.
I'm keeping in distance because it isn't really a game breaker.Okay.
The script, for pointing towards another block made using scratch blocks can be found at the "Behind the Scenes" sections of this wiki page: http://scratch.wikia.com/wiki/Point_Towards_()
Nice script but it won't work because it requires the x,y coordinates of the sprite in question.

There are the costumes for projectile and robot.
Also I would ask if every person has their own robot have a unique color design, as well as the projectile.
The scoring will be as follows:
Every bot will play every other bot.
You get 1 point for each bout you win and 2 additional points for being the winner of the match.
Robot with the top score wins!

Note, now projectiles can move
12!!!!!!!!
steps per frame.

Oh come on. That's really lame. Can they please be rectangle? Honestly I just think it's more practical...

Lol....
Can the projectiles be like, heat seeking projectiles (if it was possible considering the banned blocks)?

Never!
This allows for some unique strategy, like presenting an edge to help dodge bullets.

Well then at least choose someone like me to make an actual robot sprite, not a red circle with two smaller black and yellow circles in it.

If you keep distance I can make a robot to track the location of the other robot VERY well!

I'll allow people to make their own robot sprites so long as they conform to the dimensions given.
