Not necessarily  wink

-You can change the size of your robot, and make it larger than 68x73
-You can change your robot's appearance.
-You can change the size of your bullet.
-You can change your bullet's appearance.

Re: Artificial Intelligence Contest

I need more clarification.

I will not be here for 15 hours.

When I come back you should have posted the finalized guidelines. I will complete them to that and post my project.

Don't disqualify me for being late. Different timezone.

...time zone doesn't matter. He said, to upload it by 12:00 AM EST. So that doesn't matter. The guidelines have been mentioned (not necessarily finalized or picture perfect, not that that matters), so you need to upload it.

Re: Artificial Intelligence Contest

Okay to answer all questions:
Robots are do tonight at 12:00 AM Eastern Time. I'll let people off the hook if they get it to me a little late due to rule confusions.

Rules:
The Banned Blocks:
These are blocks that you may not use in your robot!
http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/6633 … 5at556.png
in addition, these blocks are banned
http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/9173/picture9v.png
Note: you may not use these blocks applying to any sprite. For example ([x postion] of [SpriteWhatever]) is not allowed.
IndentException: you may use ([x/y position] of [EnemyProjectile]) only. That does not mean you can use ([direction] of [EnemyProjectile]) only x/y position of EnemyProjectile.
IndentNEW EXCEPTION: Now you may use ([x position] of [SpriteWhatever]) on sprites of your team!
Any other block is fair game.
The Robot:
The robot must be a sprite with a base of a filled 68x73 rectangle at the center of which is its rotational center. This base may be increased in size or added to, but you must have at the least, that base.
The robot may not move more than 10 steps per frame. You may turn your robot freely, no restriction on how fast.
The Projectile:
The projectile must have a rectangular base of 4x17 like the robot you may change the size of this base, except in this case you may only downsize the base or remove things. The rotational center of the projectile must be in the center of the 4x17 base.
The projectile may move a maximum of 12 steps per frame. It may turn freely. The projectile must expire after 45 frames. This means that it must stop moving and hide so that it no longer deals damage to the enemy robot.
Projectiles must emanate from the robot and only 1 projectile on your team may be active at any one time.
Projectiles deal 1 damage on successful hits and robots start with 100 health.
Your Team:
You may have a "team" of seven sprites. This does not mean you may have 3 robots and 4 projectiles. It means you must have 1 robot and 1 projectile (max and min) but may have 4 other sprites that do sensing and other things that benefit your robot.
The Tournament:
The "Tournament" will consist of every robot facing every other robot in a best 3/5 set of bouts. A bout is a match where both robots start with 100 health. The top two robots will then fight a best 4/7 match and whoever wins that will be the champion robot.

Ask if you have any questions at all!

Yerp.

Might as well go with pre-set costumes.

I replaced my ok looking robot with a stupid rectangle with WAFFLE written on it repeatedly.

There are two costumes.
If the one with a green glowing border isn't legal, pick the box with waffle written on it.

@Demosthenes: I can tell you, that our robot beat RHY's robot  wink  The average score is about 100-80.

You need to change a LOT of variables and get rid of a <clear> block.
